Whether you’re new to our school or a longtime Sunnyview Primary family, we want to provide the resources you need to achieve success.

This is a central hub for students and families to easily access information for navigating the school and school day, including enrollment, student handbooks, information about schedules, extra curricular activities, and more!

Enrollment

Sunnyview Primary School serves students in PreK through 2nd grade.

Enrollment hours for students who are new to the district are from 7:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. on full school days and during specified office hours in the summer months. Enrollment must be completed in person by a parent or legal guardian.

Daily Schedule

Sunnyview Primary's school day begins at 7:45 a.m. Students arriving after this time are considered tardy and must check in at the front office. Dismissal begins at 2:45 p.m.

After School Care

Shades of Development is Sunnyview's only on-site after-care provider, but other organizations offer pickup and transportation to off-site programs.

Extracurricular Activities

Sunnyview offers several after school and extracurricular opportunities. Through these clubs and others, students have the opportunity to expand their classroom learning, get to know peers with similar interests, and explore new skills.

Student Supports

The entire staff of Sunnyview Primary is committed to establishing an atmosphere in which children will feel safe, secure, and happy so they maximize their opportunities to learn and achieve. The school has a trained counselor on staff who can provide small group or individual student counseling.

Library / Media Center

Our library is a hub for student learning, reading, and discovery. In addition to the school library, teachers may maintain individual collections of age-appropriate books in their classrooms to support literacy and foster a love of reading.

Support Organization

The Sunnyview Primary PTO consists of a group of parents and school staff who work together to support the school community. They organize events, fundraisers, and activities to enhance students' educational experiences and foster communication between parents and school staff.
